Class concept art character design prompt. I had to create and sketch a scifi character in 45mins (On a cintiq/PS/OS setup different than my own, so haaa so much fail.) that was readable as-is to an audience. That’s the quick-sketch 3-spot just above.

For homework, I had to then create a villain to that character, based on our professor. Those are the first two images.

I went for a Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome vibe, as if that wasn’t clearly obvious from the sweet headdress on the prof. Second img is the “villain” looking over her Dr. Who trading cards.

More villains need to take the time to paint their nails, I feel.

Interpretation of the “Hand of Glory” talisman as used in Hellboy. I went for a pretty stylized look for fun. What’s more fun than a gross magical mummy hand candle? Not much.

Wall-E is was a prompt in a class I took for funsies. This time it was to combine two movies into one character and make the style match with another student (who was doing another character for this prompt). Wall-E as Rick's waiter (and convenient ashtray). I think this was done in an hr from concept to final?
